Slack Notifications

This integration allows you to receive purely.website related notifications direct into a slack channel.

Setting up in Slack

1. Login to your Slack account, Click your profile picture, then Integrations.
2. Under the heading Apps, click Add an app, search for Incoming webhooks, then click install, then Add to Slack.
3. Under the heading Post to channel, select the Slack Channel you would like these notification posting to, click Add Incoming webhooks integration.
4. You will now be presented with your webhook URL. Make a note of this as we will need it for the next steps.

Enabling within the control panel

1. Login to your hosting control panel.
2. Using the left menu, click Integrations, then Slack.
3. Under the heading Slack channel, click Add.
4. Copy your Webhook from the previous steps and click Add.
5. That’s it, now any major events will be posted to your chosen Slack channel.
