Preview URLs are extremely useful for working/previewing a website before you push it live. The preview link ONLY shows when a website isn’t yet using our platforms nameservers, once the nameservers have been updated, this will disappear.
This guide assumes you’ve added a domain name to your account, but haven’t yet updated the nameservers.
- Login to your cp.purely.website account.
- Using the left menu, click Websites, then click on the website you wish to preview.
- The Preview button will be shown to the right of the screenshot of the site (if the domain has only just been added the screenshot may not of been generated yet).
- The preview URL will have an SSL generated and the URL will end in, .purelywebsite.com.
You can also use your computers host file or if using windows, Power Toys host editor.
