Adding your mailbox to Android

Here are the general steps  for adding your purely.website email to your Android phone. Please note, these may vary slightly depending on your Android version / manufacturer / email app.

  • On your phone open your preferred Mail app (often “Email”, “Mail”, or you may use Gmail app or another third-party mail client).
  • Go to add a new account. This is often under Settings, Accounts, Add account or Add Email Account.
  • Choose type Other (or if prompted for IMAP/POP, select IMAP).
    Enter your account details:
Your name (how it will appear in outgoing emails).
Your full email address (e.g. you@yourdomain.co.uk).
    Your password.
