A nameserver is a server that controls the DNS for a domain name. It acts as a signpost to direct users to the right place when visiting a website or other service running under a domain name. It translates an easy to remember domain name in to an IP address of a server where the website or service is hosted.
When registering a domain name you will need to enter at least two nameservers.
Our own nameservers are:
- a.pipe.co
- b.pipe.co
But the ones you need to use will depend on where your website is hosted or DNS is being managed.
