A cron job is a scheduled task, automated to run scripts or commands at specified intervals, enabling repetitive tasks like backups, updates, and maintenance.
- Login to your hosting control panel.
- Click on the website you wish to setup the cron job on.
- Click Advanced, Developer tools.
- Under the heading Cron Jobs, you can click Add to create a new one.
- Cron Jobs can either run a command or request a URL.
- Select which cron type you would like to use, enter the command or URL, set the interval and click Add.
